Central America readies for tropical storm matthew

This storm has made landfall in Honduras and Nicaragua with sizable force. Many have been encouraged to evacuate the storm's path.

A tropical storm in and of itself isn't such a big deasl, however this one is considered very dangerous because "Central America has been battered by months of heavy rain, which began in May with Tropical Storm Agatha." The area is already saturated with water; this storm can cause mucho damage.

  2. Ever wonder how they go through so much just to leave and come back? I couldn't handle hurricane season, it would drive me nuts watching the evening news this time of year!
